Does anyone know if a Williams GG-1 shell will fit the same chassis as their EP-5??

I have both but I admit I have not tried to do the swap.....but looking at them I'd say no.....both very different shape and mounts.
Thanks. How do they run??
NO

They are not interchangeable. However, they are good runners. They run a little too fast for my tastes, but wiring the motors in series goes along way in slowing them down. Williams are probably some of the most reliable locomotives on the market because of their simplicity. The scale GG1 is a good example of the prototype. The EP-5 is not as accurate.
Like all my Williams locos.....the EP-5 has th same drive as most diesels do which is rugged. The GG-1 is a little different but just as good. My wife loves her PINK GG-1!!!

Williams are great, dependable and affordable. Great puller on the track just have to use your throttle a little slower than with Lionel or MTH. This is their scale version needs 042, running on 072

Great looking set up. I have the Williams GG1 and it runs on 42" curves well and pulls well.

Dave, Gerry Morlitz had this pink G done a while back. We were hanging at the house one night and Gerry told Mike he should do a pink G. Has not happened yet.

GREAT-looking layout!!! I plan to rewire in series to reduce the "jackrabbit" starts.
Looks like a high amp draw!!
