Keep shopping. You can do better with MTH Rail King passenger cars in both price and interior detail. I believe the Williams cars should have silhouette windows which are ok.
IMO, that's too much for the Williams cars. I wouldn't pay more than $150-175 for those. They certainly will work on O31 curves, don't know about O27.
I agree with all the above, and would add that older Williams cars are
notorious for chaffing and grounding out the pickup wire.
I held out for the RailKing SP Daylight cars with the full interiors, they look a ton more realistic with nice lighting and some passengers.
I bought the 8 cars, the loco and tender, and the optional water tender here for $430, so paying $300 for six inferior cars seems way out of line! Since I have a SP Daylight of the same type, I'll be selling one and getting back $100+, leaving me paying around $300 or maybe less for 8 cars and the tender.
Patience Grasshopper, better deals will come along.
the guy had more lionel loco's and cars that were close or below book. i just dont know how to judge the williams cars or mth railking stuff

Look on the Bay. Go to on line auction sites and research past auctions.
You may not find the exact road but as much of this stuff there is out there you should find something in the ball park.
No silhouettes for me. If it doesn't have interior it won't be in my house.
heck for 300 bucks you should be able to find MTH premier cars for that kind of money
and they're usually in the 175 to 250 range depending with full detailed interiors.
