A friend gave me a Williams FM Trainmaster that needs two pilots with steps, I was wondering if Lionel postwar replacements would work. Any line on Williams parts, would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Go with Williams By Bachmann, I bought two pilots for my F units( one broke when it took a dive off the track) The broken one was plastic and the new ones are cast metal. Much better! Only down side was I had to drill the hole for the pin in front of the mounting screw slightly bigger. So you will get a better pilot that it had.

I have dealt with Charlie Phillips and he is a good suggestion but also gotten parts right from Bachmann. Pretty easy ordering online right from Bachmann with prompt shipping. Charlie may have a better price if he has what you need in stock.
