I do not recall seeing one like that either. But that does not mean Williams did not make one. Take a really close look at the numbers and lettering. Look for a clear thin edge a little off from the red color, or a demarcation just above and below the markings. If you find that, then decals were used and the piece is a repaint. BTW, if that is in deed the case, it looks like a VERY good job! 

BTW, how does it run? When you shut the power off, does it stop on a dime, or does it coast?

Looks much like my UP SD-45.....so I bet re lettered too. Anyone else ever notice the Williams SD-45 is almost a exact scaled up copy of the HO Athrean original version??? Hoods to wide and the way the roof removes. It's as if they sent a HO body to the tooling company and said make this is O scale. I own 6 of them so it ain't bothered me.....

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. Since it stops on a dime, that means you have one of the early ones with the big motors and no flywheels. If you want it to coast before it stops completely, you will need to remotor it with the smaller motors that come with flywheels. I think you can get them through WBB.
