Math mind senior moment. I need window shutters to fit Ameri-Town windows. Physical measurement of Lou's Café windows are .75 inch by 1.68 inch. I have searched Grant and Tichy products, doll house sites and more, but am not converting in my head correctly (or on the calculator). These will be faux shutters, not operational.
My math says I need .365" ( .93 cm) by 1.68" (4.27cm) scale shutters. Using 1:48 that is 17.5" (45cm) by 80.6" (205cm) or bottom line – roughly 17.5 by 80. Using 1:42 I need 15.75” by 70”.
I guess it would be helpful to know what Ameri-Towne considered their O Gauge building to be, 1:48 or 1:42?
