Oh, Atlas O. 
Doing some winter maintenance on the broken Atlas Master cars. As many of you know, Atlas uses plastic steps vs. Lionel’s PS-1 metal ones.
Had to buy a bunch of PS-1 repair kits awhile back. Of course, the steps on the PD cars vs. sliding door cars are all different.
I have re-evaluated the placement of these cars in the storage tote. I will try placing them upside down and see if I can reduce the breakage issues. Two cars are back in service now. The other 8 cars are still OK. We shall see?
You would think for the price of these cars, the parts would all be metal.
The pulpwood cars are the worst. The replacement steps break while still attached to the sheets.
