While running my MTH Premier UP 4-8-4, it made around 15 laps around the layout and then stopped. Upon investigated, I found that the wireless drawbar was not plugged in very well. Has anyone had problems with the wireless drawbar vibrating loose?

I haven't had them vibrate loose, but I have failed to properly get them fully connected (my error). Didn't feel or hear the little click when the tether snapped together.
I did have one PS3 steamer with a very odd draw bar issue where one wire on the tender side of the connection came loose from the socket. MTH attempted to connect two wires together in this one socket connection. I converted it back to a single wire and splice both wires into that.
Same thing happened on my Premier Erie 0-8-8-0.
Yes, the cable tie trick works great. IMO, the entire set up is a really bad design. I have a habit of connecting it once and NOT disconnecting it again unless I REALLY have to. I move the engine from the track to the display shelf (and vice versa) connected to the tender.
Y'all are AWESOME!!!! Cable tie applied, 4-8-4 is back at work. Dang! I wish every fix was that cheap and easy.
A small piece of tight fitting vinyl tubing works great.
