When did MTH begin equipping steam locomotives with their "wireless tether"?

There are some PS/2 models with the wireless tether, and most or all of the PS/3 models have it. I don't know of a PS/3 steamer without it, but I'm sure if I say that someone will find one. 
The first MTH Premier locos came out with the wireless drawbar in 2006. I think the Western Maryland Challenger (beautiful loco) was the first. I think in 2007, pretty much all Premier steam was coming with the wireless drawbar.
It was only with the advent of PS3 did Railking engines gain the wireless drawbar.
Tethers still exit for close coupled PS-3 steam, like the large camel back. Use the 10 pin tether with doubled up wires. G
