HELP!! Is there a way to wire the Modern Lionel Barrel Loader/Unloader to Realtrax WITHOUT using a remote control track? MTH warns that continuous use of the remote control track with heat up the magnet and it will begin to melt. Can I soder the connections UNDER the Realtrax or is there another alternative I could use. Thanks to all..

Not entirely clear on your question.... the #362 is never wired to a remote control track. It's a separately wired accessory.
If you're asking about operating a barrel car via a remote control track in connection with the #362, you may not have to operate the car long enough to heat the magnet up.
Alternatively, if you have TMCC/Legacy, you can convert the barrel car with an ERR mini commander and operate it anywhere on the layout without a remote control track.
Can you snip the wire to the magnet so that just the auxiliary rails are powered? The barrel car takes quite a while to unload a full set of barrels - probably too long for the magnet.
I used realtrax to tubular adapter and used the Lionel UCS track.

I use the realtrax with mine , no problems at all. I don't use the magnet at all, just the control rails....
Thanks to all of you!!! I asked the question and didn't realize the accessory DOES NOT require wiring to realtrax. Sorry for the mistake. However, Darrell answered the question I didn't ask....that is...to use the control rails to operate the barrel car. That is what I needed to know. Now all I have to do is figure out how to wire the modern black bascule bridge and I will finally have a layout I've been waiting for nearly 45 years.
