Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has or knows where to find wiring diagrams for the Williams/Bachmann boards (reverse & sound) found in the new engines with True Blast Plus sound?  I checked the Bachmann site and they seem to only cover the older products.

Thanks as always for your insights & help!

I believe they are the same.  You have a 2 pin that is AC outputs to the sound board.  2 4 pins with are AC input and motor outputs.  Only one is used for most applications, though the second could be used for Diesels.

Also a 2 pin output to for a slave motor, not used.

Easy to use a VM to get which are the common AC and common motor leads.

Normally red and black AC, and Blue and Yellow motor leads.  Been very common on the Williams I have worked on or modified.  G

Thanks for the reply!

I've added a photo of the new board factory installed in a GP-38.  The "normal" 4 connections run along the one edge but 3 more have been added.  The one with the Blu-Blk-Wh wires goes to the reverse lock-out switch, the center one goes to a power resistor and the last 4 pin connection is empty.  Do you think this board may have LED support "built-in"??  The GP-38 as delivered has the two std incandescent bulbs.  Thoughts?

(Between the motor board & speaker is the true blast plus board...nice form factor!)

Thanks again, Mike
