Wiring Fastrack uncoupler track & operating track

I have some of the 5" uncoupler tracks and 10" operating tracks but no instructions on how to wire them - do they run off of track power or do they need auxiliary power? Thanks in advance for your help.

You can do both - either track power or auxiliary. My recommendation is to use a separate power source. For some reason mine would cause a short when running off track power. I've attached a manual.
