Something that may not be as expensive as a locomotive to produce nor have I seen one separately available is the "turtleback" tender used on the Santa Fe 3000 class Mallets. I don't think Lionel is selling theirs separately. I think one by 3rd Rail would have better scale fidelity anyway. I hope this spark's interest from the SF fans. I have seen photos of these tenders behind 2-6-2s and 2-8-2s. I would like one in the engine terminal awaiting a loco. Thanks all, Scott.
