Nice article about the only remaining train store in Ogden. Glad to see it hanging in there. When I first started back into trains in 1988 there were 4 dedicated train shops. Plus two toy stores that had some train items. And the SP had also had a shop that specialized in 1:1 scale.

Now there is only Dale's shop left. He still has a lot of old stuff that he has parts for. And a grumpy repair guy for modern stuff

Yes I can be grumpy when dealing with crazy folks in Oregon!

Thanks for sharing, Chris. Enjoyed reading the article. The Wonderful World of Trains is less than an hour from where I live and some years back, I’d dropped off an engine or two there, where Jim Sandman would pick them up, repair them, then mail back to me. It’s quite a unique place.
