I'm building Woodland Scenics (DPM) kit, "Aunt Eleanor's House". One of the walls was warped and unrepairable. I emailed Woodland Scenics to request a replacement and got a response in minutes on Wednesday. I got the part today, Saturday! Now, that's great service in the the hobby business!

Good folks with good products. I picked up some WS Risers today for the little On30 pike I've started working on (which uses HO track).
Great people with great products.
You may have noticed that the number of really good-looking layouts with realistic coloring of ground cover and vegetation has exploded over the past couple of decades. Just check out some old magazines to see how much better the average layout looks these days compared to those in the past. I'm firmly convinced that Woodland Scenics products are largely responsible. Rarely has one company made such a dramatic impact on a hobby.

I agree with the service and variety of products they WS provides. It is also refreshing to see a company keep focused on a strong product line and not disturb the customer "wants and needs" and blame economic pressure with price increases at every turn. Ha Ha, without them, I would be dyeing Halloween wigs, cutting them and using them for my weeds on my layouts.
For even more variety of scenery products, don't forget Scenic Express (direct link at the top of this page and they are devoted OGR supporters). Jim Elster and his crew are superb in every respect, and if a scenic item you need can't be found there, it probably hasn't been made yet.
They are a good company all around. Dealt with them for years and they have never disappointed me. Sounds like you had just a typical experience, for them!
