With the 150th year celebration of the UP, I wondered if they hold the world record for the oldest currently continuously operating railroad, under its original name (excepting slight changes like railroad to railway and back for legal reasons).

I Googled for oldest railroads but all seem to be now out of business or were bought out/consolidated/merged.

Any thoughts?
