HOW ABOUT A BOYS SET with all postwar style rolling stock and a PRR TURBINE LOCOMOTIVE which would be a hair larger with a little more detail. the set would not be all that cheap because a locomotive tool would need to be built from scratch. it would be an electronics upgradable locomotive.

i will move forward on this depending on response BUT IF I DON'T SEE THE NUMBERS I WANT ON THE TEXAS SPECIALS I WILL BE FORCED TO DROP THIS IDEA.

thanks

Louie,

Lionel, MTH, 3rd Rail, and Bob Gale (Super Classic) have offered PRR Turbines of various sizes. I prefer a locomotive that has not been made previously.

My choice is a Reading K1sa 2-10-2 or a N-1 2-8-8-2 (rebuilt as 2-8-8-0). Or maybe Jersey Central Camelback 592 in the B&O Railroad Museum. She was photographed heading the BLUE COMET.

Perhaps the LCCA would be better served by taking a poll on the Forum and going with the locomotive that gets the most votes. That would also provide some numbers.
