Some are models of actual trains, and some are not. It isn't real. The fellow cut two model locos apart and connected them.

Two BL2s. Sort of looks a bit like a GG1. No I wouldn't buy it, but looks like he did a nice job!
Given my budget, I'd be more inclined to build my own. Nifty concept!

Reminds me of the one or more double-ended unique styled diesel switchers built for Ford (those, and the Rock Island cabbed B units) are two diesels l would have to be restrained from buying. But l am safe.....not enough buyers...

The fifth photo down is an actual railcar. However, none of the models represent actual railcars. Look at the second picture: that is $436.05 in today's dollars for a four-pack.

I would put an entire train of these on my layout! Cool boxcar, great weathering.
Neat looking trucks, whehter they existed in full size or not!

The October 2011 Model Railroader magazine introduced this stupendous Bachman EM 1-2-8-8-4 locomotive. Baldwin Iron Works manufactured thirty of them, delivering them all to B&O in the last two years of WW2. Easy to maintain and operate, they excelled in the mountainous regions of West Virginia.
In 1960, B&O retired the last one, marking the end of their use of steam. A restored loco was accidentally sent to a scrapyard, and none of these magnificent steam locomotives remain.

I'm guessing something has to have a counterpart in the 'real' world before there can be a 'model' of it. The GOOD news is there in NOT a Bat Train out there!
