I was at a yard sale today and picked up four Lionel freight cars. Three post war and one MPC era, numbers; 3469, 3472, 6465, and 6521.
Also got a 2023 engine shell thrown in and very badly warped, may get a couple of parts from the shell otherwise it is trash, maybe I can I weather it somehow and make it look like a train wreck or it burned up.
Forgot to mention this, I paid $40.00 for all five pieces.

I think the 3469 and 3472 need a special remote control track to work. I have a few 027 remote control tracks so I may test them within the next few days.

I know what I'd do with that 2023 shell if it were mine...you know all those pics of steam engines being cut up.......
