You don't know how excited I am to post this thread!

The biannual York breakfast has been scheduled!!!!! Thursday, April 28th.......

I figure an arrival time of 0715-0745.....with departures around 0915-0945.

The place: the same.....the Round the Clock Diner, 222 Arsenal Rd (Route 30 just east of the I-83 interchange).

All are welcome.....traveling alone? Small or large group?  New to TCA? First York? With your spouse? All are welcome!

Come join your fellow York attendees as we catch up on the news over the last 6 months, meet new people, put a face with the name you've been talking  to online, and discuss what you're hoping to find as you walk the halls. For York 1st timers, it’s a good place to get ideas from York veterans on how to approach your day.....

It is always a fun time!

As always, just leave a your name  and approximate number of attendees.....I have told them 25-30, but that can easily be expanded......we had about 40 people in October 2021......

I can taste those Round-the-Clock pancakes already..........

Wish I could be with you guys for breakfast again, but I'm hitching a ride to York this time with close friends from the Mercer, PA area. Will be arriving at York around noon or so on Thursday, and departing for home sometime on Friday afternoon. Will be in my usual OGR attire and likely spending most of my time in the Orange Hall, so look me up if you have have an article idea you would like to discuss, or just want to say "Hi."

I have been at many of these breakfasts and have always enjoyed myself. However, as I now spend winters in FL, I will no longer be attending the Spring York. I hope you all (all y'all in the South) have a GREAT time and enjoy the York meet. I very much look forward to joining you in October.

I wish all my Christian friends a happy Easter, my Jewish friends ein ziessen Pesach and the rest of you a great weekend.

You will be missed, my friend!

I won't be able to make the breakfast, as Work has modified my York plans.   Instead of taking Wednesday and Thursday nights off.   I'm just taking Thursday night off.  (I work 3rd shift, Sunday thru Thursday nights making companion animal diagnostic tests)

My new plan is to sleep a few hours after getting home from work on Thursday morning.   Drive to York for a Thursday evening arrival.   Attend the meet on Friday and Saturday.

This will be the first time missing the Thursday opening since I started attending in 2015.  But, happy to still be able to make the trip!

Life happens.....

I have an announcement to make......I will also be delayed getting to York.....I will arrive lateThursday afternoon. I have asked Don Klose to get things rolling in my absence.

I am sorry to miss the event, but I have no doubt that it will go smoothly. Thank you, Don, for filling in for me.

I will likely see most of you Thursday evening at Quaker Steak.....or, walking around the halls on Friday.

I definitely will have breakfast at the Round-the-Clock Diner Friday AM.....I can't go another 6 months without their pancakes!

Safe travels to all.

Peter

Well that is unfortunate, but not the end of the world. Stinks you miss breakfast much like I am missing this York, but what can you do. I do know that Don will make sure pictures are taken as he is always with camera much like me. I wish I could have made it for April, but just seems to be out of reach like prior times. Still likely I will miss October as well, but not the end of the world. Maybe I can pop out to Allentown for the Frost, see how things work out.

Have a great time all, pancakes, eggs, waffles, bacon, bagels, sausage, jelly, and whatever else besides coffee and tea to throw in your bellies. Enjoy all.

Hang in there Dave!  I'm sure things will work out for a future trip.
