Thanks to the winter weather, an NS sd70m=2 lead the Lake Shore Limited from Cleveland to Albany and back the next day.  It's not unheard of to see freight locomotives leading Amtrak trains, but consider this: the NS unit led over both CSX track (Cleveland to Hoffmans) and Amtrak (Hoffmans to Albany).  So, that makes this foreign power for the entire trip.  

 

I'll post Saturday's train below, making the videos out of order, but I consider the top one to be the better of the two.  The station is Schenectady, NY, the former NYC / D&H station, 160 miles from New York City on Amtrak's Hudson Line.  Track speeds are up to 110 east and west of here, but the NS unit won't be doing that!
