Since everyone from the convention is being AWESOME at keeping secrets, I thought I would help ease the tension just a bit.

Back in February, Lionel approached me with some concept art for a reissue of the WLLC operating radio tower. Updated for 2017-18 with Bluetooth on board, you can play just about any sound through this thing that can be pushed through a Bluetooth connection. This includes episodes of Notch 6!

The art group at Lionel along with the product managers gave me a big surprise by asking if they could put Notch 6 on the side of the building. It may only be about an inch square, but that's our little show on the side of an officially cataloged Lionel product. I never dreamed that we would build the relationship with Lionel that we have, nor that they would ever recognize us in such a public way. My heartfelt thanks to EVERYONE at Lionel who has helped us build the show over the last three years. So here is Ryan announcing the building along with a nice little shot of the official artwork.

I'm looking forward to seeing this come to life. Not only because of the Notch 6 element, but because this neat accessory is long due for an update like this.

So there's your first secret. As for the rest of it, hang tight until August 17th. There are good things coming.

Fantastic!!!

I am happy with the respect the LCCA members have shown Lionel by keeping the catalog quiet.  Many of us love the suprise like christmas, flipping thru new catalog without any spoilers!

I also may just have to finally join LCCA to go to the 'reveal party' at the conventions if this becomes a regular thing!

Fabulous blue-tooth update to this accessory.  My only suggestion to Lionel would be to offer SEVERAL billboards, so the buyer can select something meaningful to them.  Perhaps a selection like, Lionel's original WLLC, or ericstrains.com, or Trainworld TV.  Not everybody here listens to podcasts.

I'm sure you could make your own.

Maybe I'll add this and do a TV / Radio station combo.  Then Eric's Trains could be on the TV side.
