I just thought because nobody posted anything here, but this past Saturday the 29th, was another annual Youngstown Ohio Mahoning Valley Railroad Heritage Association at the B&O Banquet Hall. Here is Part 1 video below of what I got. Part 2 will be uploaded later this evening.

Since I have today off, I was checking on my post, and found yours this AM. An EXCELLENT video of guys having a chance to blow whistles from their collections! At least I think that is what is happening. Can you tell me more about this event? And I hope your Part Two will also be just as great! Thanks for taking the time. I will have to send your stuff on to a few Museum friends to hear this video. Also liked the dubbed (hahahah)effect of a good steam whistle on that diesel. Sorry few diesels inspire me, but that is my opinion, so no need to bash me! Thanks again. Great video to start my day!!!

Thanks for the comments people. This event was a Train Whistle blow to come and blow train whistles. As for dubbing, I didn't dubb the video. This is original as it gets. Unless your talking about the people who blew the whistle at the CSX as he was going by? As for Part 2, I'll have that up between 7 and 8PM tonight. So be on the lookout. Part 2 has a nice K4 Whistle and a huge Black Homemade Whistle.

This event is held on the site of the old B&O station in Youngstown, Ohio. That is the building you see in the Part 2 video above.

Steam heat is still provided by Youngstown Thermal to many buildings in downtown Youngstown. One of their main steam lines passes by the station along Mahoning Avenue at this location. They tie into that line and have an inexhaustible supply of steam at about 150 psi for the whistles.

Thanks Rich, and continued good luck with the 765.

Acctually, that whistle is this one in this video below, which isn't my video, but it's the same whistle. He calls it, "boiler tube version replica" ATSF 6 Chime. But my favorite whistle is at 3:32 in the first video of mine.
