Happy New Year!!!

Ray here from the Black Diamond in Bethlehem. I have been communicating about repairing an MTH Z4000 that was 'stuck' in program mode. Henning's trains had it for awhile, and diagnosed it as a control board issue. They were unable to find a replacement part... # AD51000012, per their records.   👍 to Henning's 😎

I now have the Z4000 back in my possession. Is this part no longer available?  I do still would love to get this Z-4000 back in operation.

Thanks.

I’m having what I’m guessing is the same problem. I plug it into the wall outlet then power on. It flashes the 4000 0123 then just the right display reads 00 at the Volts and PG at the amps. Mine is the 0398 model so I know it has some years on it. I would just like to confirm that I’m buying the correct board from MTH.

Quick update I was messing around and held down to left side program button and the 00 and PG moved to that side and stays there as long as I hold down that button once I release the code jumps back to the right side. Could it be the case of the button being stuck? I don’t have a second one to test my theory.
