I'd asked a while back if anyone had found a good label holder that attached to GSDS shelving and @CurtisH pointed me towards glass shelf labels (thank you again!) which are working great. The labels are 82mm x 40mm, and I created a template in Photoshop to let me print them and make them nice. I'm using a color laser printer with heavy cardstock and a sheet cutter to make everything straight.
It's possible, if your shelves are closer together than mine, that the labels are too tall, and I've been keeping a lookout for ones that are just as wide (or wider) but half the height. If you see any, please let me know.
If anyone is interested in using these, the Amazon UPC is 704415979738 for the label holders, and here's a link to the .PSD file I'm using as the template for the labels themselves. I've tried to keep things organized and there's a bunch of different icons and logos in folders within the PSD layers that you can use as needed. Hope it helps, and if you have a good idea and want to make edits to the template either shoot me an e-mail with your updated file or just create a PR on the file in the repository and I'll approve it. I'm sure I'll make a million changes before I'm happy with it on my shelves, but figured I'd share with the community in case anyone else likes pretty things like me. :-)
