Combining Lionel BCP2 with MTH DCS

I am building a new layout and want to incorporate both Legacy and DCS, and have purchased the Base3 and the WTIU for controlling the trains. I also want to use LCS modules to control the switches and blocks, so that everything can be controlled from an iPad without the need for a traditional control panel. The ASC2 seems relatively straightforward as it does not need to communicate with the WTIU at all for controlling switches. I am struggling, however, to understand how to connect the BCP2 (for powering blocks) with the WTIU. If anyone has experience with this I would be most grateful for their guidance.
