If you have the manual for the cab1L the instructions are on page 18-19. I'd post it but I don't think I'm allowed to. If you google Lionel Cab 1L manual you can download it.
Thanks Pup, I found it on line. Interestly the manual I got with my cab1L only goes to page 16 and it looks like the last page of the manual. Strange.
The CAB1L manual didn't include all the TR stuff, the Lionel 6-37147 CAB1L & BASE1L Set manual included all the information about lash-ups..
Yeah John that's the manual I meant . I didn't realize there were 2 manuals. Thanks for the clarification.

I got to looking when he said 16 pages, I didn't realize there was just a CAB1L manual. They obviously screwed up the cut-n-paste as I would have expected them to have all the information about lash-ups in the CAB1L manual!
