No rocking action; bubble tube lamp does work. Anyone attempted this? The 3-pin regulator on the circuit board is blown. Wondering if the motor is seized up - haven't figured out how to get to it (to inspect & test it) yet.

I am having a similar issue. I haven't fixed it yet. I have disassembled by binding the mounting tags and removing the generator. I can manually turn the drive wheel and gears to get the walking arm to move. I don't have the electrical skills to test the circuit board. I do not see any damage to the board based on visual inspection.
