I bought a Z transformer for less than 50.00 got it home and it did work, however it will trip out eventually and it takes quite awhile to come back. I am hoping that one of you can recommend a good tranformer rebuilder preferably someone in the midwest. Its needed for my Tinplate RR, which consists of two trains and accesories. Thanks!!

I do not know anybody in the mid west, however I just purchased a rebuilt KW from Ace's Train Crossing here in Pittsburgh, Pa and the KW works like brand new.
Ace stands behind every Transformer he rebuilds, you might want to give him a call.

If the rollers/dials are working smoothly and the red circuit breaker lamp is coming on when it trips, then all you really need is to replace the circuit breaker. They do wear out and act like yours when it's time.
