Have any of you heard if this business is still open? I purchased an item from them early last month and have not received it. I payed with paypal and have that receipt. I have sent several emails, and called several times. The phone mailbox seems to be full and it seems that Sue is not responding.

I contacted Dennis Zander and he told me the item I ordered should be in within a week or so. That was three weeks ago. He also acknowledged that zstuffexpress was an independent operation, etc.. At least he responded.

I am about to go to paypal and see if they can recover my payment.

Any info will be helpful.

I had a similar experience with zstuff express. I ordered a dz 1000 and 2 track sensors for the trolly and they confirmed my order. I payed with paypal and it has been 14 months and still have not received anything. I talked to Denise last year at trainfest about it. He said Sue would get on it. I never received my order. The products are great Denise always returns calls, however, I only order from a 3rd party now.

Sorry to hear that anybody lost money with Z Stuff. I have not used Z Stuff express.

Have tried to order from DZ Industries but was told my order was too small and contact one of their vendors like Gargraves or Ross.

I order my DZI products from Ross Custom Switches and never had a problem. Usually get my order within 10 to 12 days, not counting Sundays.

I, too, have had similar experience with them. I ordered a track side signal in early September and paid through PayPal (who charged my credit card). After waiting several weeks I called the number listed on the Zstuffexpress web page only to get an answering machine. Left a message...left another message a few days later..then a third. None were returned. I then attempted to send emails to the web address listed on the site. All were returned as "undeliverable".

At that point I contacted Dennis directly and he was able to make a connection with "Susan" at Zstuffexpress. I believe they are related, as the same last names appear in both places. I was told that there were some technical glitches that happened that held up my order but that it has been sent out. Today is Oct.7th...and I'm still waiting. Filed a dispute with the credit card people in case it never arrives. A simple returned phone call or an email that worked would have been most helpful from Zstuffexpress. Dennis was most helpful, though. It seems this is a regular problem.

Had the same thing. Called, and called along with email. Finally got someone on the phone who told me his daughter ran the online business and stop calling him. Once I threatened to contest the charge in my card, my order magically appeared the next day nearly 4 months later. Would never order from them or recommend them regardless how  great the products are

Not to diminish anyone's experience with ZStuff (I too love their products) but there have been several posts over the years describing exactly what you all are.  And what you are describing is truly customer service at its worst.  Great you can occasionally get the owner on the phone but it seems like even that leaves a bad taste.  Your absolute best bet is to buy direct from a third party vendor (I know, who would think!) like Ross Custom Switches.  You will never have stories like the above from Ross.  And if you are going to York, they usually have some ZStuff products available for sale right there.  If not, just order direct from Ross.  Going through what you all are describing is just nuts.  And why ZStuff continues to sell direct is beyond me.  They should just let their third party vendors sell the products.  Or put a huge disclaimer on their website saying "if you place an order with us your item might show up soon, much later, or not at all."  BigRail

Not too dump on them but i had a very similar experience.  I ordered one of there signals around Christmas.  Didnt arrive, i called the number and i got the owner.  I guess I called the wrong number, he didnt seem pleased i called him direct, it was the number on there website.  He gave me the correct number to call. The woman handling the customer service issues was extremely nice and said the signal was tracked to Chicago, i live in New York.  She said she would send out another signal right away.  I got it in about a week.  She was very pleasant and I had no problems with them.  I felt bad, I thought i entered the wrong info but realized thats impossible, cause payment went through paypal.  I would have purchased it through my hobby store but they seem to have the same stock for awhile.  I am wondering if something is going on?  I went to a train show in New Jersey last March and they had Representatives there.  I hope it gets sorted out.  I really like there products.
