I was given an add-on v/a meter 6-14002 with the warning that it was missing the hardware to install the meter. Lionel only lists the terminal post extensions and they are NLA. do you have any suggestions as to where I can find the hardware.

GPTOM, here is a picture of the 3 items you need.

The screw is a one inch pan head screw.  I was missing them too so I removed one of the top screws on the ZW and bought 2 one inch versions like it at Home Depot.  The originals are black but I don't care.

The owner's manual calls the middle black item a"black insulated binding post cap nut."  I have 2 that have broken but you can glue/epoxy them together and they'll work, and you probably can get away with 2 although they are instrumental in holding the meter to the transformer.

The manual calls the bottom item a "silver hexagonal binding post extension - 1 5/16 inch."  I have 4 of them.

E-mail me if interested.  John

GPTOM,       With the black insulated binding post, they are not a major structural integrity fastening item.  You DO NOT need to tighten them down to assist with holding the metering bridge in place.  I know, because having learned the hard way, as many others have.  It would have been nice for this fact to be communicated to everyone, purchasers of the meter bridge.  Their primary purpose is to complete the common side of the transformer circuit between the transformer and the metering bridge itself.  Once they are "bottomed out" and complete the common ground circuit on each A-D post, that is sufficient, without the need to really "tighten" them down.  This will assist greatly in prevention of snapping off the insulated posts screw head caps.  And, yes, logically, once only one, any one of them are in place and completing the common side circuit, this should provide the needed common to all four A-D circuits.  However, I still make certain all 4 insulated binding posts are installed correctly, per the metering bridge instructions.
