At this time I am using two Z750's to power my layout and have a chance to get a PW ZW at a real good price. Most of my locos are PW but I have a Williams EP5 and lionel dock sider. I have seen in other posts that there should be a circuit breaker between the ZW and the track to protect modern locos boards. Would this be true with the two that I have? I have no plans to buy any modern locos and am staying with PW for any other purchases. Or should I look to a modern transformer such as an MRC? Thanks
