Just a quick question :   I have a fairly new ZW-L transformer that has developed a loose handle.  It become a problem when I turn the handle to about 12 volts and it still lowers all the way down to 20 volts after I remove my hand From the handle.  I noticed a small hole on the round side of the handle assembly but cannot tell if it takes an allen wrench/philips head or slot screw driver.  Any info as to how to tighten this handle up Would be appreciated.

thanks Pete

That is a great question. I have the new ZW-L as well. I don't have a problem with it adjusting it self but the handles have a lot of play in them. I did notice that you need a special type of philips screwdriver to remove the top off of the unit. I keep forgetting to check to see if Home Depot or Lowe's sells this tool. And then once into the unit it would be nice to know what can be tightened to cut the play in the handle.

Just a final update to my issue with the ZW-L.   I contacted Lionel's service department via e-mail....I received a quick reply from them advising me that the handle and hub are pressed fit inside the transformer and  that they would issue a RMA to fix the problem.

Thank you Lionel for once again standing behind your products.

Pete
