Could someone share the expected voltages with modern AC voltages at the mains?

Expected AC voltage at each controller in off position and at max position.

Expected DC voltage with whistle initially engaged and at full on engagement. (mine drops to 0 at full engagement).

Also if you have the wiring for bypassing the selenium rectifier with a by pass diode (not mounting a stud diode) it would be appreciated.

Currently I've tied a diode, cathode side to the black lead removed from the original rectifier and the anode lead to the nichrome wire exiting the selenium rectifier's base. I get a good whistle at initial turn on but no whistle when the control is move to full whistle (note the top is set in place to limit motion.

Assistance is really appreciated.

the old ZW has a 250 watt and 275 watt transformer If i remember correctly the output voltage is around 120 VAC depending on how hi you 120 VAC is coming in to your house ! if your not get the dc output your rectifier is bad and needs to be replaced! the rectifier was a round disk but now you can install a stud mounted rectifier when purchased. you normally will get around 20 VAC output of your ZW transformer using the handle controls !

here is the pdf file about your zw

Here are my voltages

Left with diode anode to 2 ohm nichrome resistor at base of old rectifier

Left

3.7 VAC in off position

21 VAC full power

27 VAC full power with whistle fully depressed

5 VDC with whistle partially depressed

0 VDC with whistle fully depressed

Right with diode anode attached to ground

10 VAC in off position

21 VAC full Power

26 VAC full power with whistle fully depressed

12 V DC whistle partially depressed

0 VDC whistle fully depressed

My problem is that with the whistle fully depressed (top on to limit travel), there is no DC for the whistle circuit
