Does anybody have any experience with 0-63 curves and big articulated locomotives? I just realized I have one at the entrance to the yard in my track plan and I had planned on having articulateds bring coal drags into the yard. While it's not quite accurate, that includes any and every one of them. I wasn't sure if they might be able to squeeze under 0-72.

I have a friend who runs a Lionel Vision Line Big Boy on O-63 curves. This Big Boy is from a few years ago with the depleting coal tender.
It goes around the curve just fine as long as it is run slowly. The overhang is awesome. Nothing else can be on the adjacent track. He also runs a 3rd Rail N&W Jawn Henry that is even larger than the Big Boy on the same curves. Slow and steady is the formula and watch the overhang. He uses Atlas sectional O-63 curves. NH Joe
I just found a video of the older Lionel Vision Line 2-10-10-2 navigating 0-54. So if your buddy's Jawn Henry* and Big Boy can navigate 0-63 curves, and the 2-10-10-2 can pull off 0-54, I should be good. I mean I **could** work around it but it would be ideal to bring coal drags straight into the yard. Thanks for the info!
*I never heard of this locomotive but holy cow is it cool! What a beast! I'll have to do some more reading on when I have the time.
