this is going to be a tough one!!
Looks like an emergency vehicle with flashing lights.
I was thinking a firehouse too. A firehouse would be a great addition to Menard's lineup of structures.
Fire truck on a flatcar.

I have no idea but I hope I won't like it.
Rescue squad on a flatcar. Yup, that's it.
Flashing lights, Blue and Red alternating, MMmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
Let me see if I can remember. Were those lights on the top of MY car or were they in my rear view mirror? Bad Boys, Bad Boys, Watcha Gonna Do? You just KNOW I gotta have one of these!!!

Don't count on it Spence; Keep your card handy!
SPOILER ALERT.....
Sorry Mark, But I know what it is. (Check the Website under train stuff) Oops did I say that?
Another winner. This emergency vehicle will sell like hot cakes.

Yep, Menards certainly has created a niche for themselves. Rolling stock at affordable prices.

Just had to do it... yes ordered...With Menards fast delivery, they should be here Friday....
Good move cabinet Bob.
It is a really great looking ambulance, but I wish it used an AC adapter (like the buildings) rather than batteries. It sort of limits where you can put it on your layout...unless you want it to flash 24/7 until the batteries die.
Have twice as much fun with these two new O gauge offerings from Menards!
Introducing the O scale Chicago F.D. ambulance with working lights! This authentically detailed ambulance has a die cast metal cab and comes complete with working headlights and flashing red/blue emergency lights. Simply toggle the on/off switch on the bottom and enjoy! SKU# 279-0862
We are also proud to introduce this O scale Mack truck! This beautifully painted Mack truck has a die cast metal cab with a simulated wood flatbed. The cab is painted with a metallic green and adorned with logos from your favorite train (I mean hardware) store . Of course, this truck would not be complete without a chrome-colored bumper, grille and rims. SKU# 279-0748

Thank you,

I like the Flat Bed. That Mack would go great replacing that fugly P/U at the feed and weed.
Approximately, what year is the Mack?

I'm not as well versed in trucks as others may be on the forum but I believe this is open to interpretation.

Menard's, I hope you have produced a lot of those Mack flat bed trucks.
LAst week, passing through Effingham, IL, I visited a Menards store for the first time. Was surprised: large staff, variety of products (picture a Lowes with groceries), but was also surprised that trains are an on-line item only.
We need a Phila ambulance.
play trains,
Did you get your email yet? Sometimes they run a little late depending on the email service you use.

I remember writing down you email address but I can't find the slip of paper. Can you remind me what it was?

Mark the Train Guy, I ordered some items on line. For whatever consideration and rethinking Menards Management may want to give it, those of us who live outside your area and can't take advantage of the free-to-store delivery, have to pay, not only shipping, but also a processing fee, which is a discouragement to order from Menards. $11.50 extra on a $17 order is a bit much.
Mark,
Thanks for producing another great O gauge item! I model the modern era and I have been waiting for years to get a modern ambulance for my layout. The best part about your offering is that in addition to being modern it is a Chicago paint scheme which is exactly what I wanted to go with my other modern Chicago fire and police. But wait, it also has working lights!!! This is AWESOME and a real home run in my book. I just ordered three.
THANKS!!!
