I thought it was a ambulance, Dang I'll get it one of these times
I'll get really specific... A red SANTA FE flatcar with a shell tank trailer.
To go more then a week without trying to out guess Mark would give me too many sleepless nights. And the winner is................a shell hopper car, flat car with a shell tanker or trailer, a small shell oil farm or refinery, a shell gas station. Must have a thing for buildings. Anyways it will be interesting to see what it will be. And as Maxwell Smart would say...."I only missed it by that much"............Paul
OK, I've got the answer this week. An O scale sunbather figure wearing a seashell bikini top!!!!
Jim, I don't see any picture.
8/15 this year is a MONDAY!
I am going with the 3 dome tanker, I hope it is a single dome tanker in black. Me hopes.
I think this.

STU your brave showing that ruler, there is a certain person on Ebay that uses that in almost every auction who to my knowledge very few like.
Swafford,
For several months now, you have provided Menard's with some wonderful ideas for buildings. Unfortunately, neither them, MTH or Lionel has picked up the ball. Maybe someday. Please keep posting your ideas. I like them.

Mine Too! Happy Birthday!!!!

Hope it is a Shell tank truck on a flat car in the same scale as the Pepsi and Dew trucks!
You did a supertanker in 1:48?
They did? There go the basement walls! LOL

Jim,
I agree with you 100%. I love the ideas Swafford is sharing and I sincerely hope he keeps them coming!
Buildings take a long time to materialize (sometimes 1-2 years before production). I assure you we are keeping tabs on what people are suggesting to us.

Aint nothing wrong with looking at the pretty drawings !!!!!!!!
Good Morning Mark,
Thank you for your reply. From all of Swafford suggestions, regarding buildings and scale freight cars, is there any of them, your company is presently working on?
Check out this brand-new Santa Fe Flatcar with Shell Tanker! Not only does it feature an 11-1/2’’ deck with beautifully painted woodgrain, but it also comes equipped with premium metal trucks and operating couplers. But this impressive piece doesn’t stop there! Sitting atop the flatcar is a die-cast Shell Tanker Trailer. From its bold yellow and orange paint scheme and Shell branded decorations, this lifelike tanker is truly a great piece of die cast! SKU# 279-3437

Best. Guess. Ever.
I like the tanker,a lot! Could we get it in Sunoco, since I have the MTH Sunoco tank complex already! Isn't Sunoco a sponsor for the Menards race car? Just sayin!! And instead of the Midwest, Ohio rebate program, maybe a free car or truck or something with a purchase for the rest of us? Sorry, couldn't resist!
Very nice!!! Keep 'em coming.
Looks like the eBay pink ruler guy was right. He also had a Kemps dairy tanker trailer on a Rock Island flatcar & unweathered CNW boxcar listed that I had never seen before. His listings said they haven't been released by Menards yet.
"From its bold yellow and orange paint scheme and Shell branded decorations..." I don't think I'm color blind, but hasn't the Shell color scheme always been yellow & red?

Looks red to me as well
Side note for those who may not know: the current Shell logo (as appears here) was designed by Raymond Loewy of GG1 fame, in 1971.

Jim,
I think you can understand that I am not at liberty to answer many of the questions you've been asking. I don't want to spoil the fun!
