Hello everyone I have a o gauge track hooked to fixed 1 on my tiu can I run a ho track dc power with a dc trans former hooked to fixed 2 in and out going to a ho track. and running all of it at the same time

I was told by MTH the answer was no.
I run AC for O and DC for G scale. So I don't mix.
I've read posts here where someone disagreed. I never tried it.
I'm pretty sure you can indeed run DC through the fixed tracks in conjunction with AC. I believe it was Barry that mentioned that there was some conflict using DC on the aux power and DC on the fixed channels, but I've never tried that. I have tried AC on a variable channel and DC on a fixed channel without issue.

Well, I did the first test with 2A circuit breakers in the leads, I figured they should go before it toasted anything. 
I do know that it was suggested that some combinations of DC on the aux power and either AC or DC on the power inputs might be a problem.
I've run DC on the aux power and had no issues running all the channels with AC, so I don't think that was the problem combination, I think it might have been DC on the fixed channels. Obviously, you can't use DC on the variable channels.
