I did a bad thing. I was called away while running trains, and forgot to return. One of the pantographs on my GG-1 popped up, and hit a tunnel portal, causing the engine to derail on a grade crossing. The breaker in my 60+ year old ZW did its job... but the train stalled on the crossing fried the coil in the Modern Era Automatic Gateman accessory.
And I mean FRIED.
So... are these coils replaceable? I haven't pried the tabs to look yet, but I CAN see through the door that the coating on the coil was boiling at some point. Is it worth it? The building and man are minty-looking, just the coil is shot.
Anyone have the part number?
Thanks!
Jon
