source for pin outs on old TMCC board | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

martindOGR Forum Member SUPPORTING MEMBERDIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I have an old board that I removed from a Dash 9 6-18253, the board number is 691-pcb1-0b1. I would like to use this board as a test bed for other components. Does Lionel have a pin out guide for this board? On the TMCC-Legacy site I have found pin outs for legacy boards but not tmcc. Any suggestions.

Break out the ohmmeter, it's not that difficult to map out the connections. Note that this is a diesel board with the VCO circuit, so you may have issues using it testing steam sound boards.

Look at the bottom of the board and you may see markings as abbreviations for those pins in tiny letters. Also one of those connectors is for the R2LC. Google Lionel R2LC, images and you will see a diagram for that board. The audio boards may also be out there.

Here are the pin-outs of all the common TMCC boards. FWIW, not many of the early TMCC boards had the connector pins identified.
