I have a few of the 155 freight platforms and cannot decide if I want to put in between 2 tracks or run on the inside of the inner loop? How are you running yours and why? Pics would be a great help. I would also like to obtain a few of the Marklin Litho'd drums. Is there a good source for these other than E***?

Thanks,

Joe Gozzo

I placed mine between two tracks next to my 116 station. When I first set them next to each other the freight station was taller than the passenger station and just didn’t look right. My solution was to cut a rectangular hole in the train table and recess the freight station.  I hot glued  small 3/16” x 1/16” magnets to the 1/32 people so they can stand upright waiting for the next Presidential Special.

Chris Bogus and I added a station complex above the running tracks on our Standard Gauge Module Association (SGMA) modules.  In an arrangement similar to 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, there are platforms on both levels, and we used four 155 platforms on the lower level.  They fit perfectly between the "42" track and the "72" track, which are spaced on the SGMA standard of 14-1/2" center to center.  The USA Track LLC track spacing is 7-1/4" between 42,57,72 and 87 curves, so the same arrangement could be used between 57 and 87 tracks as well.
