Some of the city scenes on my layout.
Saturday afternoon on Patsburg Ave.
The warehouse district with construction job.
Westend Ave. Ice cream and Lionel Trains spells yummy fun!
Switch crew works the city industries.
Clarke Kent just stepped out of the phone booth and Dudley runs to catch the train while a dog waters the fire hydrant. All the while the hot dog stand is busy.
Remember when a bottle of Coke was 5 cents and Preston Tucker had a great idea brought to fruition? Well, Cokes are still 5 cents and Tucker Automobiles has a dealership in the city of Patsburg. The Pepsi generation also resides here too!
At the hot dog stand. Mr. McDonald teases his dog with a hot dog on a stick. Ol Morely Seaver has been running this hot dog stand for 37 years now. Best hot dogs in town!! What's a city without junk piles and warehouse/industrial areas.
Cars are coming and going. The elevated trolley passes overhead.

Don, I haven't seen a Fotomat in years. Thanks for the memory. I'll have to put that on my list of things I need to build.
A shot of my small town,

How did you do the trolley track? Looks great, fantastic work!
Great city scenes, all, but I wouldn’t want to fly kites so close to that low parapet, Don!
Here are a few pictures of my Dept 56 City. I love the country scenes, but a touch of NYC during the Christmas season is something I can relate to.

K line super tracks.
Just a little sampling of night time on North Main...usually a fair amount of activity there on Friday through Sunday nights...

Thanks so very much John! Glad you like that scene
More City Scenes: Patsburg Fire Dept Co 5 receives an alarm from dispatch. Mini pumper 51, Engine 5, and Ambulance 5 respond. This lower part of the city is called Brewtown due to the brewery, keg warehouse, and retail outlet. The upper part in the background is the Westend section of town. City bus.

Pete, great looking layout...buildings, roads, cars, background all super realistic...the photos have a nice depth of field!
The nice wide roads really add to the scene. Great modeling! JohnA
More city scenes from my layout.
Mr. Murdock exits the drugstore after having purchased his morning newspaper.
Willy waits patiently for his morning ride to work.
In every city's industrial area there are street like this.
What's a city without organized crime. Meet Don and Juan the organizers!
