I just checked the patent number on a Racor 22 switch stand and that patent number was issued in 1951, so a little too new for what you are looking for. The Adlake lamp is fine for that era.
I have a Ramapo Iron Works No. 6 switch stand with a patent date 1897. This would have still been in service in the 20's and 30's. Here are a few pictures.
I got lucky one day and was allowed to get a full sized Milwaukee switch stand. I welded the arm in the up position, bolted the mail box to it. It is easy to find my house.
