Hello all

1929 Ives is being run by Lionel and American Flyer ... due to their bankruptcy the prior year...  who ever was the mix and match-er  of parts and colors was a genius coming up with some of the most beautiful standard gauge sets of the classic period .   The Olympian as cataloged came with the Bipolar 3245 and 3 of the  Flyer cars is Halloween colors of orange and black ....   this set was found with a 1134 .....  no doubt dealers or the factory would have been happy to switch engines to make a sale .

If you have not yet seen this link of Hugh Newsom's ....Junior Railway Club ...featuring Ives standard gauge 1929 and before .....with the star of the show ..is a 1134 pulling Olympian cars ..... could be the same set ...  or may be another set out there still ...
