Lately these are as rare as hens teeth. Athearn keeps making new Bettendorf trucks every year, but gave up on Roller Bearing a while ago.
Hardly anything on ebay. Does anyone have a stockpile of these I can buy? Are they practically gone forever?
I'd like to know.

Are you wanting the Symington roller bearing Athearn plastic trucks and wheels? I have them assembled, and kits.
The only ones I've ever encountered (other than Bettendorf) are the Symington. They work nicely with Intermountain steel wheels.
Weaver used to make them too. I have some plastic RB wheels and trucks from a Weaver tank car i bought on ebay a few years ago.
I have about 4-6 pairs, delrin with delrin wheels. I think they are all Weaver, but might be one Athearn. I don't use them. Contact my email if you are still looking.

They way to tell is Weaver roller bearing trucks have molded plastic springs while Athearn have metal coils that are inserted. Weaver trucks are a model of a later version than the Athearn's so look better on more modern cars.. .DaveB
I just have not looked at them, I know I have 4-6 pairs, but I have not looked to see which brand. I do know most are Weaver.
