My friend Clem asked me to post this video given some recent interest in distributed power in our consists.

WOW that’s a lot o power!!! Glad the breakers didn’t trip. 👍👍 I had 11 Lionel ES44AC without smoke, running off a 180 watt brick, added the 12 one and it finally tripped.
Impressive
Very impressive!!!
Very cool! Love all that UP power!
Also a beautiful layout - is it a club layout or private? Looks like a very large and well disguised folded dogbone?

The layout is @clem k 's private layout. It's certainly large enough to be a club layout. Clem often hosts the Detroit 3 Railers for running sessions. We are about due for another visit
The layout has four power districts each with a Lionel 180 brick, and use the four channels of the TIU. The grade is about 2.2 percent about 24 feet long. Total main line trackage is about 300 feet. All units powered, fixed pilots and none have traction tires. Most everything is all Kadee couplers both plastic and metal. Most rolling stock is on Weaver Delrin trucks and wheels, most of the Weaver is not weighted. This did not run as MU ! I just use the DCS ALL button. I tried running a lot of passenger equipment, but too many light bulbs. 1080 degrees of curvature (I think), 120" and 122" curves super elevated, three curved turnouts.
Thanks for watching
And thanks for posting MichRR714
