Has anybody heard if the NS patriotic car is still expected late Dec.or has it been canceled ?

Why would you think it might be cancelled? Wasn't that car produced based on the number of club orders that were prepaid?

It will be here most likely sometime in January or Febuary.
It certainly would not be cancelled but could be delayed due to production issues at Lionel's Chinese vendor. Lou would let us know if that was the case.
I'm very much looking forward to this car.

Any new shipping update on this car?
This car is not cancelled. Unfortunatly, due to delays with the contracted manufacturing company in China, Lionel has been unable to deliver the product to the LCCA. I don't have updated timing for delivery yet. I too am disappointed with this delay. I think it is a great looking car. This product is not cancelled and we will work with Lionel to further minimize additional delays. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
