As you all are aware, there have been a dizzying number of new products released this year. Way too many for anyone to remember. It would help sales tremendously, if MTH would bundle all the special releases into one catalogue that can be accessed online.

Why? For the most part, these products are all "built to order" at the request of local dealers. If you didn't order one from that dealer, it's not going to be available. Plus, I think most, if not all, have been published on this forum. Just search MTH to find them all.

I agree with you in principal and I would love to see a catalog of all their special runs. The problem is they were all special runs so each piece was spoken for. It's not like you can go to a hobby shop in hopes of maybe seeing one of these items. They are sold out. So is a catalog really needed? I doubt it.
It would be nice if MTH did put out a catalog listing all the special runs. It would probably be best if the catalog was only in digital form to save on costs or I assume they would have to have a hefty charge for physical book since they do not operate in the same manner as they used to.
Just my opinion.
That cost money and we don't even know what MTH will look like when the dust settles. I think it was stated, all these special runs are due to the factory requirements to keep the lines busy/business contracts but don't quote me on that.

I think another problem with a a paper catalog is that it might be up-to-date at the time of printing, but next week when something new is announced, it is now out-of-date. A digital catalog can be appended to but wouldn't be complete until the end of each year when you can open the 2021 digital catalog on December 31 and see each item released for that year. Then the same process would start all over again for 2022.
As for special runs, these were always "uncatalogued", there have been many special dealer runs that a good number of us have never heard of because they were only offered exclusivity through an associated dealer. MTH does have a news release with all of the 2021 uncatalogued diesels: https://mthtrains.com/news/715 This list is broke out by which dealers offered which items.
There is also the 2021 Product list page on the MTH website: https://www.mthtrains.com/catalog/fj-2021-all-scales
This is a comprehensive list of all products released in 2021 (excluding the dealer uncatalogued items) that unfortunately lacks a "title" description. You have to click on each item to know what it is and can decipher the gauge, product line and Rolling Stock vs. Locomotive by the product number provided.
