I have a 2656 prewar cattle car that has a loose brake wheel stem. it needs to be crimped (flattened) under the frame so it doesn't fall out. It was never crimped. There must be a tool that will do it. Thanks for any help.
Try using a side cutter plier at the end and of the shaft and squeeze enough to flatten the end. It shouldn’t need much to expand larger than the frame hole.
