Brad, I can't speak for anyone else, but for my purposes I much rather build my own railroad without outside inflences. In fact I'd cringe at the thought of another individual working on my layout. To me it's very personal and satisfying without outside intervention. I don't care how long something takes me either...but I want it to reflect my individual workmanship and creativity.

But as has been demonstrated to you already, people will always help you with answers to your various issues when you post them clearly. So help is available.

Yes, Woody Mathews (sp) lives in the Seattle/Tacoma area. You might also stop by Eastside Trains hoppy shop, and ask for Bob Guldig, who is their "service guy". Bob pretty well knows what is going on in O-Scale, both 2-Rail and 3-Rail, in the area.

I remember being in the UP's Fife Yard with the double header trip (844 & 4449) back in 2007, and Woody took some of us to a gentleman's home who modeled the SP in the steam era (2-Rail O-Scale). The layout was absolutely HUGE, in the basement and I have never seen so many southern Pacific brass steam locomotives, in one setting, in my life!

Usually Woody Mathews is quick to answer any one interested in 2 rail O scale. We are having a meet in Edmonds,  WA Tomorrow night At 8 PM.  open to anyone that wants to visit. He model CB&Q Steam and early diesel in his Attic layout. part of the layout is 90' long!

Drop me an email at jovila   at   Comcast  dot  net or call me until 9:00 tonight on my cell or anytime tomorrow after 7am. Four25- Seven 65- Zero 121.

We're a no dues group that operates on several different layouts in the area.

There is one portable layout that runs before and during  the Grays harbor county fair coming up Aug 8-12,

and i'll fill you in on the rest.
