I use it at work and love it, and now I have a 3D printer at home. I'm using a copy from work (Legal, the license lets you use it at work and at home) But the work copy is a basic version. Premier version is Waay better.
Note for those interested, a Student Version is current now but can never be upgraded to a newer version.
You get what you got and stay with it, but the price is awesome.
Note, I'm not sure just how I'll use the new version, At work we are stuck on 2012 Version because we use XP systems still. I'm sure there will be changes in how it operates.
I am in the same quandary. My PCs still run XP and my primary work and home machines are MACs. OTOH at that price its worth picking up a new PC just to run it.
